About Us

In the vast and varied world of Templars we chose to devote our Priory in San Martino, the old Knight who gave part of his cloak to the poor exhausted from the cold, to emphasize our vocation to charity.

Natuarally we don't leave out the common prayer, study and tradition. We want to be concrete and constructive, giving priority to the practical work, even if we are willing to give our life for our ideal, hoping that God will not test us at all costs. If this were to happen, however, try to be worthy of what we represent.

We do not criticize nor discuss the choices of others who want to recognize themselves in the Templar world, if they in any way prove to be capable,if they are charitable and witnesses of faith.

To achieve common objectives we are willing to cooperate with other Priories, knight organisations and other organizations outside the chivalrous world.
From our point of view the Templar mantle must be a witness of faith shown when possible and when permitted by the Church. The Templars today must be witnesses of faith, defenders of the values that this entails and defenders of Christian people.

The Templars must be righteous and correct, because they should give the example.
We dedicate our experience in San Martino to the God, hoping that He will help us grow in our faith and in our work.

Provenance

For some years we have militated in the Priory of St. Ilario, where we played various organizational tasks, operational and we have at the time of our departure our equipment exceeding the value of € 2.800,00.

With the experience gained there, we decided to give shape to a new reality that there is better and which was immediately greeted with sympathy and praise the federation O.M.C.T.H. and religious authorities with whom we came in contact.

And 'our pride and costume to act with the utmost clarity and transparency, to this end we use published in the official internet site of the Priory of St. Martin, all activities, as we do should be public.
